Linnworks MCP Server
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any AI tool to your Linnworks account. Ask what each sales channel sold, which products are carrying the month and where stock is running low — and set channel revenue against your ad spend in the same conversation. Read-only: nothing in Linnworks is ever changed.
What is the Linnworks MCP?
The Pipeboard Linnworks MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server connects AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to Linnworks, the order and inventory management system behind many multichannel sellers. Your assistant reads your live account instead of a report you exported last week.
It is built for sellers who advertise on several channels and want to see what each channel actually sold next to what they spent to sell it.
What you can do with it:
Linnworks is in limited early access
This integration is live for a small group of accounts while we roll it out. The Linnworks card only appears on your Connections page once your account has been enabled — until then, the setup steps below will not be available to you.
Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, and Snap Ads are generally available on every plan today. Browse those guides →
Request early accessGetting started
- 1
Create a Linnworks app and install it on your account
In the Linnworks developer portal, create a system integration app and install it on your Linnworks account. Keep its Application ID, its Application Secret and the installation token.
- 2
Paste the three values into Pipeboard, once
At pipeboard.co/connections/linnworks. Pipeboard checks them with Linnworks, stores them encrypted and never shows them again. During limited early access the Linnworks card is not on this page yet unless your account has been enabled — request access above and we will switch it on.
- 3
Point your AI tool at the server
Add the MCP URL below to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible client — or switch Linnworks on in the Pipeboard chat. Authentication is your Pipeboard account; the server only ever reaches the Linnworks accounts you connected.

Five read-only tools. Your assistant picks the right one from the question — the names are here so you know what is reachable.
Accounts and channels
- list_linnworks_accounts
- list_linnworks_channels
Every connected account, each checked live: whether its credentials still open a session, whether Linnworks reports it as locked, and its region. Channels give the source and sub-source values the sales tool groups by.
Sales by channel
- get_linnworks_sales_by_channel
Order count, total charged, subtotal, tax, postage and discount per channel and currency, optionally per day. Filter by source or sub-source, and pick which order date the window uses.
Products and stock
- get_linnworks_top_products
- get_linnworks_stock_items
Best sellers by turnover or by quantity over the last N months, and inventory items with on-hand, available, allocated, due-in and minimum levels per stock location.
Things worth knowing first
Which date the window uses changes the numbers
Sales default to the date an order was received on the channel, which is the one to compare with ad spend. You can ask for the processed, paid or cancelled date instead; the same orders land in different days depending on which.
Currencies are never added together
Each order is totalled in its own currency, and a channel that sells in two currencies comes back as two rows. Convert before comparing.
Large windows are cut short, and say so
One question reads up to 10,000 orders within 90 seconds. Beyond that the answer carries truncated: true with the totals so far, rather than a number that looks complete and is not.
Best sellers cover every channel together
The top-products report is Linnworks' own dashboard report. It cannot be filtered by channel; for one channel, use sales by channel instead.
How we use your data
Your app credentials are encrypted at rest
The Application ID, Application Secret and installation token are stored encrypted and no tool ever returns them. Disconnecting an account deletes them.
No buyer data reaches your assistant
Sales come back as totals. The names, addresses, emails and phone numbers on your orders are never returned by any tool.
Only the accounts you connected
Every tool call names the Linnworks account it is for, and the server refuses an account you have no connection for. We do not train on your data and do not sell it.
Frequently asked questions
What is a Linnworks MCP server?
It is a Model Context Protocol server that connects an AI assistant to your Linnworks account. Instead of exporting a processed-orders report and building a pivot table, you ask — "what did each Amazon marketplace sell last month?" — and the assistant reads it from your live account. The Pipeboard Linnworks MCP is available at https://linnworks.mcp.pipeboard.co/ and works with Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP-compatible client.
Is it available to everyone?
Not yet. Linnworks is in limited early access: the connection card appears at pipeboard.co/connections/linnworks once your Pipeboard account has been enabled. Email support@pipeboard.co to ask for access.
What do I need from Linnworks to connect?
Three values from a Linnworks app installed on your account: its Application ID, its Application Secret and the installation token. You create the app yourself in the Linnworks developer portal, as a system integration, and install it on your own account. Pipeboard checks the three values with Linnworks before saving anything, then stores them encrypted and never shows them again.
Can it change anything in my Linnworks account?
No. Every tool only reads: sales totals, channels, best sellers and stock. Nothing creates, edits or cancels an order, and nothing changes a stock level or a price.
Does it see my customers?
No buyer data is returned. Sales are reported as totals per channel, currency and (optionally) day; names, addresses, emails and phone numbers on the orders are never passed to your assistant.
Why do my sales say truncated?
A single sales question reads up to 10,000 orders and stops after 90 seconds, because Linnworks allows about 150 calls a minute. A wider window comes back with truncated: true and the totals so far. Narrow the dates, or ask for one channel source at a time.
Is my data used to train anything?
No. Pipeboard does not train on your data and does not sell it. Requests go to the Linnworks API with your app credentials and the responses go back to your AI assistant.
